Seaflower Skye
Seaflower Skye is looking for Boat Crew and Skippers to join its friendly team in Portree for the remainder of the 2026 season.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, meeting people and sharing the incredible wildlife, scenery and history of the Isle of Skye.
Positions may also be available for the 2027 season.
The Role
Welcome and look after guests throughout their boat trip.
Help ensure the comfort and safety of everyone on board.
Share local stories, history and wildlife knowledge.
Assist with serving lunch during excursions.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation on the vessel.
Work as part of a small, friendly team delivering memorable visitor experiences.
Working Pattern
Seasonal role until mid October 2026.
Full time and part time opportunities available.
Potential opportunities to return for the 2027 season.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
A friendly, welcoming and enthusiastic attitude.
Excellent customer service skills.
An interest in wildlife and local history.
A good eye for detail.
The ability to work well as part of a team.
Not Essential
RYA qualifications.
Previous marine tourism or hospitality experience.
Full training will be provided.
