Travis Perkins is looking for a Multi Drop Driver / Customer Service Assistant to join its Inverness team.
This is a varied role combining local deliveries with customer service in the branch, making it ideal for an experienced driver who enjoys dealing with people and wants a job where no two days are quite the same.
The Role
Carry out multi drop deliveries to local customers.
Drive transit and flatbed vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.
Ensure customer orders arrive safely, on time and in good condition.
Load and unload vehicles safely.
Provide friendly and helpful customer service.
Support customers within the Inverness branch.
Follow company health and safety procedures.
Work across different areas of the branch when required.
What We Are Looking For
Experienced driver with a Category B driving licence held for at least 12 months.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong health and safety awareness.
Physically fit and comfortable with the demands of the role.
Reliable and hardworking.
Able to work effectively under pressure.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Flexible and adaptable approach.
Previous experience within the building supplies or trade industry would be useful but is not essential.
