Harbro is looking for a part time Retail Assistant to join its Country Store team in Elgin.
This role would suit someone who enjoys dealing with customers, has a friendly and helpful manner and is comfortable with the physical side of working in a busy country store.
The Role
Provide a high level of customer service.
Help customers with information about products.
Process cash and card payments.
Help maintain stock levels.
Carry out general housekeeping duties.
Work as part of the wider sales team.
Handle and move stock as required.
Working Pattern
Part time.
16 hours per week.
Flexible working Monday to Sunday.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
Applicants must be over 17 years of age.
Good communication skills.
A friendly and engaging manner.
Confidence dealing with members of the public.
A helpful and polite approach.
Ability to work as part of a sales team.
Physical fitness for a role involving time on your feet and manual handling.
Not Essential
Previous knowledge or experience of the agricultural, pet or equine sectors.
SQP Animal Medicine Qualification.
Training towards the SQP qualification can be provided.
