Carr Gomm is looking for Support Practitioners to join its team in Oban.
This role will suit someone who is compassionate, reliable and wants to make a genuine difference by helping people live independently in their own homes and communities.
The Role
Supporting people with daily routines and individual support plans.
Assisting with meal preparation, medication and personal care.
Building positive relationships with the people you support and their families.
Helping people remain connected to their local communities.
Supporting people returning home following hospital stays.
Responding to Telecare alarms and emergency situations where required.
Working across a variety of shift patterns including days, evenings, weekends and waking nights.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
A caring and compassionate approach.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A flexible approach to working hours.
A commitment to supporting people to live independently.
Not Essential
Previous care experience.
A full UK driving licence.
An SVQ qualification in Health and Social Care.
What Is On Offer
Salary of £26,886 to £28,352 per annum pro rata.
Hourly rate of £13.75 to £14.50 depending on experience and qualifications.
