Ri Cruden Ltd is looking for a qualified Water Technician to join its growing team, working across commercial projects in Brora and Sutherland.
This is a hands on role for an experienced plumber with the qualifications needed to carry out water compliance, maintenance and monitoring work safely and to current regulations.
The Role
Complete Legionella maintenance PPMs.
Carry out remedial cleaning, sampling and chemical testing.
Undertake minor plumbing works.
Carry out routine monitoring in accordance with ACoP L8.
Maintain customer water logbooks.
Complete required documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company procedures.
Carry out water system cleans and disinfections.
Test, service and maintain thermostatic mixing valves.
Work safely across commercial projects throughout the area.
Working Pattern
Full time position.
40 hours per week.
Based in the Brora and Sutherland area.
Overtime is paid for hours worked above the 40 hour contracted week.
Paid travel time is provided.
Company vehicle provided for business use.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
Applicants must be located in the Brora or Sutherland area.
Qualified plumber with SVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
Water Regulations and Byelaws qualification.
Not Essential
Previous experience in compliance servicing, Legionella monitoring or water treatment is desirable.
Legionella ACoP L8 qualification is desirable.
What Is On Offer
£14.84 to £16.50 per hour depending on experience.
Overtime payments for hours worked above the 40 hour contract.
