Ullapool Museum Trust is recruiting a Commercial Development Manager to help grow and diversify income streams for one of the Highlands’ most distinctive heritage attractions.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone commercially minded and proactive to help shape the future of the museum through tourism partnerships, cruise visitor development and new visitor experiences while staying true to the organisation’s heritage and community values.
The role would suit someone with experience in tourism, visitor attractions or commercial development who enjoys combining strategic thinking with practical delivery.
The role
Develop and support commercial growth opportunities
Build cruise tourism and travel trade partnerships
Help create new visitor experiences and offers
Support sustainable income generation
Work closely with the wider museum team and stakeholders
Help deliver a commercial strategy aligned with heritage values
What we are looking for
Experience within tourism, visitor attractions or commercial development
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Commercial awareness and strategic thinking
Organised and proactive approach
Passion for culture, heritage and community
