We’re looking for a friendly, capable and experienced Manager to join us at The Commercial Hotel in Alness.
We’re a busy, genuine local hotel, bar and restaurant — the kind of place where everyone knows your name. We’re looking for someone who understands that hospitality is as much about people as it is about great service.
You’ll be someone with a kind, approachable manner, who enjoys getting to know customers, can lead a team positively and is equally comfortable welcoming regulars, looking after hotel guests or getting stuck in during a busy service.
This could suit an experienced manager looking for a fresh start, or an ambitious Assistant Manager / Supervisor ready to take the next step.
We’d love you to have:
- Previous hospitality management or supervisory experience
- A warm, friendly and professional personality
- Strong communication and people skills
- Good knowledge of bar service, cocktails, coffee and food service
- The ability to organise and lead a team efficiently
- High standards and a good eye for detail
- An honest, reliable and hands-on approach
- Confidence dealing with customers and resolving problems
- The ability to work independently and take real ownership of the business
- A Personal Licence would be advantageous
- Must be smart, well-presented and Professional.
We’re looking for someone who wants to put their own stamp on the place, become a familiar face within the community and help us continue to build a great local hotel, bar and restaurant.
