Mowi is looking for Engineering Apprentices to join its team in Lochaber.
This role will suit someone who enjoys problem solving, wants to learn practical engineering skills and is looking to build a long term career while earning a recognised qualification.
The Role
Learn to maintain modern food production machinery.
Develop mechanical and electrical engineering skills.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
Assist with fault finding and diagnostics.
Work with PLCs and process control systems.
Use computer based maintenance management systems.
Support engineering projects across the site.
Learn safe engineering practices within a food production environment.
Work alongside experienced engineers while completing your apprenticeship.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
Four National 5 qualifications at Grade C or above.
National 5 Maths.
National 5 Physics or Chemistry.
Good problem solving skills.
A positive attitude towards learning.
The ability to work well as part of a team.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
Not Essential
Previous engineering experience.
Engineering qualifications beyond the entry requirements.
Full training will be provided.
