Nairn Book and Arts Festival is hiring a Festival Manager to deliver its 2026 programme and support future development.
This role suits an experienced events professional who can lead from the front and deliver a complex, community focused festival with confidence.
The role
Lead the planning and delivery of the 2026 festival programme.
Manage multiple events across a defined timeframe.
Work with artists, partners and stakeholders across the sector.
Oversee budgets and ensure delivery within agreed parameters.
Support marketing activity and audience engagement.
Build relationships across the local and wider creative community.
Working pattern
Part time freelance contract.
Initial 6 month term with potential extension into 2027.
Festival dates run from 29th August to 6th September.
What we are looking for
Proven experience in senior level events management.
Strong organisational and leadership ability.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience managing event budgets.
Ability to deliver a sales led marketing approach.
Experience building partnerships and networks.
Fundraising experience desirable.
