Parkdean Resorts is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join its team at Grannies Heilan’ Hame Holiday Park in Embo near Dornoch.
This role will suit someone who enjoys practical outdoor work, takes pride in maintaining high standards and is comfortable carrying out a wide range of maintenance tasks.
The Role
Carrying out general maintenance and handyperson duties across the holiday park.
Maintaining grounds through mowing, strimming, landscaping and gardening work.
Completing painting, fencing and minor repair tasks.
Keeping outdoor areas clean, tidy and safe for guests.
Pruning trees and hedges, litter picking and jet washing where required.
Changing gas bottles safely and efficiently.
Maintaining flower beds and planted areas.
Responding to guest enquiries in a friendly and helpful manner.
Using the job management system to track and complete maintenance tasks.
Assisting with pitch tidies and the movement of holiday homes when required.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
Experience in general maintenance, groundskeeping or landscaping.
A practical and hands on approach.
The ability to carry out physical work including lifting, bending and prolonged periods of standing.
The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Good communication skills.
A Full UK Driving Licence.
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and bank holidays when required.
Not Essential
Experience using a wide range of hand and power tools.
