Scottish Water is looking for motivated people to join its Water Response team, with opportunities across Inverness, Dingwall, Alness, Aviemore, Tain and Dornoch.
This is a practical, hands on role combining network maintenance, problem solving and customer service while helping keep one of Scotland’s most important services running.

The Role

Investigate and resolve problems affecting customers.
Carry out routine repairs and maintenance on the water network.
Complete plant, equipment and vehicle checks.
Keep customers informed while issues are being resolved.
Help minimise disruption to water supplies.
Use digital reporting systems to record work and performance.
Follow health and safety procedures when working on sites.
Participate in the out of hours standby rota.
Travel between sites as required.

What We Are Looking For

Essential
Full clean driving licence.
Self motivated and practical approach.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Good customer service and communication skills.
Basic IT skills.
Ability to use digital equipment and apps.
Clear and accurate report writing skills.
Commitment to safe working practices.

Desirable
Experience with HGVs.
Experience operating 180 or 360 excavators.
Experience using cable avoidance equipment.
Understanding of site health and safety.
Basic groundworking skills.
CPCS or NSRWA qualification.

Performance related progression up to £36,460.
Overtime paid at time and a half after 35 hours in a week.
