Parklands Care Homes is looking for Relief Care Assistants to join the team at Eilean Dubh Care Home in Fortrose.
No previous care experience or qualifications are required, making this an opportunity for someone who is caring, adaptable and willing to learn.
The Role
Support the care, protection and wellbeing of residents.
Treat residents with respect and dignity.
Help residents maintain and develop their independence.
Provide practical assistance and emotional support.
Support residents to achieve their individual goals and aspirations.
Help residents make informed choices about how they want to live.
Follow individual person centred care plans.
Support residents’ physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual needs.
Help residents take part in social, educational and recreational activities.
Support activities including family visits, walks and other individual interests.
Maintain the health and safety of residents.
Help maintain appropriate stock and equipment.
Follow Parklands policies and procedures.
Work closely with the wider care team.
Working Pattern
Relief position.
Hours are available as and when required.
Day and night shifts are available.
