The Role
Responding to incidents and emergencies.
Protecting communities and preventing crime.
Supporting victims and vulnerable people.
Investigating offences and gathering evidence.
Working with colleagues to keep people safe.
Building positive relationships within local communities.
Undertaking a wide variety of policing duties.
Working a range of shift patterns as part of a 24 hour emergency service.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
18 years of age or over.
Physically fit.
Have lived in the UK for at least three years.
Meet Police Scotland’s right to work requirements.
Hold a full manual driving licence.
Meet the national eyesight standard.
Resilient, professional and committed to public service.
Not Essential
No formal qualifications are required.
Previous policing experience.
