Mackenzie Construction is looking for a Project Manager to join its Civil Engineering Division in Inverness.
This role will suit an experienced construction professional who enjoys leading teams, managing complex projects and delivering high quality work safely, efficiently and on budget.
The Role
Managing civil engineering projects across regional frameworks.
Overseeing projects from planning through to completion.
Managing project teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Monitoring quality, environmental and health and safety standards.
Supporting business growth and regional development.
Managing commercial reporting and project performance.
Communicating regularly with project teams and senior management.
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and community benefit.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
A proven track record delivering contracts, programmes or frameworks.
Experience managing subcontractors and project teams.
A strong understanding of site safety requirements.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong planning and organisational skills.
The ability to motivate and develop others.
A proactive approach to problem solving.
SMSTS qualification.
CSCS Supervisor Card.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Not Essential
Knowledge of the water industry.
Confined space or industry specific training.
Experience working within regional framework contracts.
Knowledge of Microsoft Project and other project management software.
