Russwood is looking for a Production Operative to join its team in Newtonmore.

The Role
Grading timber and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
Supporting collection and delivery activities.
Working across a variety of departments including the sawmill, paint line, planning mill, flooring department and dispatch area.
Maintaining high standards of quality control and order accuracy.
Operating machinery and equipment safely.
Supporting stock management and waste reduction.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment.
Operating forklift trucks where qualified and required.
Contributing ideas to improve production processes and efficiency.
Supporting colleagues to ensure customer deadlines are met.
What We Are Looking For
Essential

The ability to work in a busy production environment.
Not Essential
Previous manufacturing experience.
Forklift truck experience.
Experience within timber production or sawmill operations.
What Is On Offer
Starting salary of £29,724 per year.
Full time permanent employment.
42.5 hour working week.
Monday to Friday working pattern.
