GAP Pump Services is looking for a Regional Pump Engineer based at its Elgin depot.
This role is ideal for an experienced mechanical engineer or fitter who enjoys working across customer sites and solving technical problems.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical experience who wants a varied role with a leading equipment hire company.
The Role
Service, maintain and repair pumps and related equipment within the GAP fleet.
Travel to customer sites across the region.
Diagnose and repair faults on pumps, hoses and generators.
Carry out planned servicing and maintenance.
Accurately complete service records.
Help ensure customers receive reliable equipment when they need it.
Working Pattern
Permanent full time role.
42.5 hours per week.
Based from the Elgin depot with regular travel across customer sites.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
Proven experience as a Pump Engineer, Mechanical Fitter or in a similar role.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Customer focussed approach.
A full UK driving licence.
Not Essential
Experience in the plant or hire industry.
Knowledge of diesel engines, pumps, hoses or generators.
