The British Red Cross is looking for a Shop Manager to lead its charity shop in Lochgilphead.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced retail supervisor or manager who enjoys leading a team while making a positive difference in the local community.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys leading people, delivering excellent customer service and helping a worthwhile cause succeed.
The Role
Lead, motivate and develop a team of staff and volunteers.
Deliver excellent customer service.
Drive sales and maximise income opportunities.
Create an attractive and welcoming shopping environment.
Oversee the day to day running of the shop.
Promote the British Red Cross within the local community.
Working Pattern
Permanent position.
21 hours per week.
Three days per week.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
Previous retail experience in a supervisory or management role.
Strong customer service and cash handling skills.
Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
Commercial awareness and the drive to achieve sales targets.
Good IT, administrative and organisational skills.
A passion for supporting the work of the British Red Cross.
