Ken’s Garage is looking for a Service Technician / MOT Tester to join its team in Kildary.
This role will suit someone with MOT testing experience who enjoys working with modern vehicle technology and wants to develop their skills within a growing aftersales team.
The Role
Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs.
Conduct MOT testing to a high standard.
Deliver quality repairs and first time fixes.
Support diagnostics and fault finding.
Provide feedback through manufacturer technical platforms.
Develop knowledge of EV and Hybrid technologies.
Lead by example and support colleagues.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
Work with modern Peugeot and Stellantis vehicle technologies.
Working Pattern
Permanent position.
40 hour working week.
Monday to Friday.
No weekend working.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
MOT Tester qualification.
NVQ qualification in Motor Vehicle Technology.
Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills.
A passion for learning and developing technical knowledge.
A positive team focused attitude.
Not Essential
A/C qualification.
Franchise experience.
EV or Hybrid training.
Additional manufacturer qualifications.
Training can be provided.

Salary of £40,000–£45,000 including bonus scheme.
