Parklands Care Homes is looking for a Clinical Deputy Manager to join the team at Pittyvaich Care Home in Inverness.
This role will suit an experienced nurse who enjoys leading teams, supporting colleagues and delivering exceptional care for residents.
The Role
Support the Care Home Manager with the day to day running of the home.
Act as Care Home Manager in their absence.
Provide clinical leadership and support to nurses and care staff.
Promote high standards of compassionate and person centred care.
Support the induction, mentoring and development of nurses and care staff.
Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing and respond effectively to changes in condition.
Work with colleagues to develop and implement individual care plans.
Carry out audits, inspections and assessments to support continuous improvement.
Build positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
Ensure compliance with legislation, policies and best practice standards.
Working Pattern
Days on a rotational shift basis.
Weekend working included.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
Current NMC registration.
Recognised nursing qualification.
Experience in a senior nursing or supervisory role within adult care.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent organisational and decision making abilities.
Ability to work effectively within a fast paced environment.
Passion for delivering exceptional care and improving quality of life for residents.
Not Essential
Previous experience as a Deputy Manager within a care home setting.
