Highland Hospice is looking for a Voluntary Services Co-ordinator to join its team in Inverness.
This role will suit someone who enjoys working with people, building community connections and supporting volunteers to make a difference.
The Role
Supporting the recruitment and engagement of volunteers across Highland Hospice.
Working with local communities to attract new volunteers.
Collaborating with managers to understand volunteer requirements.
Attending events and delivering talks to promote volunteering opportunities.
Managing volunteer applications and onboarding processes.
Supporting a network of more than 900 volunteers.
Helping maintain a welcoming and supportive volunteering environment.
Working closely with the Voluntary Services Manager and wider team.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
Excellent communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Good administrative abilities.
Experience using Microsoft Office.
A supportive and collaborative approach.
The ability to work in a busy environment.
A genuine interest in working with volunteers and communities.
Not Essential
Previous experience in the voluntary sector.
Experience within healthcare or charitable organisations.
