Girvans is looking for a Weekend Baker to join its team in Inverness.
This role will suit someone who enjoys baking from scratch, takes pride in producing high quality products and likes the idea of helping create treats that customers return for time and again.
The Role
Prepare and bake a range of products from scratch.
Produce scones, cheesecakes and tray bakes.
Bake sponge cakes, pancakes and strawberry tarts.
Maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
Work independently to keep the bakery running smoothly.
Contribute new ideas and signature bakes.
Maintain excellent food hygiene standards.
Support the wider team when required.
Working Pattern
Saturday and Sunday.
Start time of 6.00am.
Around eight hours per day.
Weekend position.

Able to work independently.

Passion for baking.
Commitment to producing high quality products.
Not Essential
Previous bakery experience.
Experience making celebration cakes.
Food Hygiene qualification.
Training can be provided.
