Alan Stevenson House Hotel is looking for an Administrator / Receptionist to join its team in Hynish on the Isle of Tiree.
This role will suit someone who enjoys working with people, keeping things organised and supporting the smooth day to day running of a busy hospitality business.
The Role
Manage hotel reception duties and guest enquiries.
Handle telephone calls and email correspondence.
Process bookings and reservations.
Maintain accurate business records and filing systems.
Prepare and issue invoices.
Assist with supplier accounts and payments.
Support payroll administration.
Assist with VAT returns and financial reporting.
Provide general office administration and business support.
Work closely with management on day to day business operations.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
Strong organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Confident using computer systems and office software.
Professional and friendly approach.
Not Essential
Previous administration experience.
Bookkeeping experience.
Reception experience.
Experience within hospitality.
Knowledge of Xero accounting software.
What Is On Offer
£13.45 per hour.
20 to 30 hours per week initially.
