The Caledonian is looking for a General Manager to join its team in Inverness.
This role will suit an experienced hospitality leader who enjoys building teams, driving change and helping shape the future of a growing business.
The Role
Leading the relaunch and repositioning of The Caledonian as an all day dining, drinking and entertainment venue.
Managing and developing an established team.
Recruiting, training and supporting additional team members as the business grows.
Creating a positive and motivated working environment.
Driving customer service standards across all areas of the business.
Supporting the development of the venue’s reputation within Inverness.
Managing day to day operations and commercial performance.
Overseeing service standards, staffing and guest experience.
Working closely with ownership to deliver long term growth plans.
Helping establish The Caledonian as a leading hospitality destination in the city centre.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
At least three years management experience within a high volume food and beverage business.
Strong leadership skills.
Experience managing and developing teams.
Excellent communication skills.
Commercial awareness.
Passion for hospitality and customer service.
Right to work in the UK.
Not Essential
Experience within a venue relaunch or repositioning project.
Experience within late night or entertainment led operations.
What Is On Offer
Starting salary in the region of £45,000 per year.
