Full Time and Part Time Opportunities Available
Ember is looking for professional Intercity Bus and Coach Drivers to join its growing Inverness team.
This role would suit experienced PCV drivers who enjoy delivering excellent customer service while helping shape the future of zero emission public transport.
The Role
Driving Ember’s fully electric coaches on intercity routes across Scotland.
Providing a professional and welcoming experience for passengers.
Assisting customers with enquiries and travel support.
Maintaining high standards of safety and driving performance.
Using onboard technology and operating systems.
Helping keep vehicles clean and well presented throughout the day.
Supporting the wider team to ensure services run smoothly.
Working Pattern
Various start dates available.
Rotating shifts across a 24 hour, seven day operation.
Early, late and night shifts required.
Five weeks’ notice of rotas provided where possible.
Overtime opportunities available.
What We Are Looking For
A full PCV Category D licence.
A valid CPC qualification.
A digital tachograph card or the ability to obtain one quickly.
A commitment to safe and professional driving.
Strong customer service skills.
The ability to work flexibly across a range of shifts.
A positive and solution focused attitude.
What Is On Offer
£15.50 per hour starting rate.
£16.30 per hour after one year.
£16.90 per hour for Ember Ambassadors.
£1,000 sign on bonus after six months.
Overtime rates from £18.60 per hour.
Free CPC renewal for full time and part time drivers.
28 days paid annual leave pro rata.
