Relief Registered Nurse
Parklands Care Homes is looking for a Relief Registered Nurse to join the team at Eilean Dubh Care Home in Fortrose.
This role would suit an experienced and compassionate nurse who wants flexible night work while providing high quality, person centred care to residents.
The Role
Provide quality, evidence based nursing care.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual care.
Administer medication.
Support residents during NHS and GP visits.
Monitor and support residents’ health and wellbeing.
Promote independence while treating residents with respect and dignity.
Maintain accurate nursing records.
Liaise with medical and non medical professionals.
Carry out physiological assessments.
Provide palliative care support to residents and their families.
Support the wider care team and assist at mealtimes when required.
Act as Shift Leader when required.
Manage nursing equipment.
Support staff training.
Carry out nursing audits.
Follow health and safety requirements and the Parklands Quality Management System.
Working Pattern
Relief.
Night shifts.
Hours available as and when required.
Based at Eilean Dubh Care Home in Fortrose.
What We Are Looking For
Registered Nurse.
Current Nursing and Midwifery Council registration.
Strong clinical skills.
Ability to use professional judgement in meeting residents’ nursing needs.
Commitment to person centred care.
Ability to work effectively with the Care Home Manager and wider care team.
Commitment to continuous professional development and mandatory training.
Existing right to work in the UK.
