Community Integrated Care
Community Integrated Care is looking for Support Workers to join its team in Invergordon.
This permanent role is about supporting four people with autism and learning disabilities to live independently, make their own choices and enjoy the everyday activities that matter to them.
The Role
Support people within their own homes.
Help with everyday living tasks.
Provide personal care and medication support.
Promote independence and individual choice.
Support people with appointments and finances.
Help people enjoy hobbies and activities including gaming, cycling, swimming and bowling.
Support people to spend time with their families.
Build positive relationships with the people you support.
Work closely with the Service Leader and wider Support Worker team.
Working Pattern
Permanent.
Full time and part time contracts available.
Contracts range from 12 to 42 hours per week.
Shifts include 8am to 9pm.
Sleepover shifts run from 9pm to 8am.
Some 2:1 support shifts run from 11am to 3pm, Sunday to Friday.
Different working days each week.
Some weekend working is required.
Contracted hours are guaranteed.
Rotas are available four weeks in advance.
What We Are Looking For
A genuine interest in supporting people to live independently.
A caring and respectful approach.
Ability to provide person centred support.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Willingness to work days, sleepovers and some weekends.
Previous experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant is welcomed but is not essential.
A UK driving licence is desirable as some of the people being supported have cars and enjoy getting out and about.
What Is On Offer
